There's a distinct smell
Of joy or a drunk party

Use the wood to make a boat
Take it out to sea and stay afloat
Allow the sounds of the mermaids 
To abound around us

Oh Can We

Let's carve our initials into a tree
At the local playground
Then the two year olds will understand

Every single cloud
Seems to resemble her face
Daydreams are nightmares

Walls

Inside there's  a wall too tall, that I've built
It encases all places of my heart
Forever holding the anger 
I've felt
And keeping those feeling there is an art
